As GY1 ends...

It has been a year since I got accepted in the MD-PhD Molecular Medicine program of UP Manila. And I must say ... A lot has happened. A lot has been realized. A lot has changed. 

I never expected it to be easy, and truly, it is not. But the struggles, defeats, and disappointments during GY1 thought me that there's more to everything. It's not about how you struggle, but how you end it. It's not about being disappointed when someone said you're not enough, but how you strive hard to improve and be better.  GY1 has some saddening memories, but it also holds a bountiful amount of learnings and fulfilling stories (... and for this I am grateful).

The start of LU3 is fast-approaching. There are some things left undone. But as I try and hope to finish them on time, I also hope greater things will come.
