AweSiyam: 9 things about this family that will make you want to be part of it

Four months ago before entering the MD-PhD program and meeting these amazing people, I remembered telling myself, "You have no choice. You need to befriend and accept them because you'll be with them for the next eight years." As someone who is not good at introductions, I thought I had to force myself to talk and get to know them. It turned out, I didn't have to. 

1. They are all friendly and approachable. ❤️ 

2. Our simple "hi" and "hello" four months ago, became this.

 

3. And more food (and laugh) trips.

4. But, other than all these happy memories are fulfilling stories we have accomplished in the four corners of UP Manila,

5. Where we got to report, do lab works, and be a lot more.

6. The things we did during those four months weren't easy, but these people made them bearable. 

7. We still have more remaining years together --

8. More things to learn, discover, apply, and share,

9. But I know, we'll always be AweSiyam together.
